2008 Federal Election links to arts and culture

In a time of significant threats to Canadian cultural sovereignty, the Stand On Guard for CBC Coalition provides these links as a public service. Our aim is to ensure that you have the opportunity to hear independent Canadian voices on matters of cultural importance–even as the federal and BC provincial governments plan and/or implement deep cuts to public funding for arts and cultural institutions and industries (of all sizes). Although the October 2008 election is over, we leave these articles on the site for reference.
